How to Join the HP Alumni Group on LinkedIn

LinkedIn and Yahoo are two separate industry-standard services – both with HP Alumni groups.
Your memberships in the two groups are synchronized through your email address.
We can't add you to the HP Alumni group on LinkedIn – you must apply through LinkedIn.
To join the HP Alumni group on LinkedIn if you are already an HPAA member:
1. On LinkedIn, click "Account & Settings" then "Email Addresses" to check that the email address you use for your HPAA membership is shown as a primary or secondary address on your LinkedIn account. Be sure that the address is marked "Confirmed" by LinkedIn.
2. Go to http://www.linkedin.com/e/gis/16/6A04266B1171 and click the "Join this group" button. Normally, if you have been a member of the HPAA for a week, the HPAA logo will appear on your LinkedIn profile in a few minutes. Otherwise, it can take several days for the separate LinkedIn and Yahoo systems to get synchronized.
