...per the HP recruiters I have talked to, the average time from req posting to offer is almost 60+ days! The recruiters said it was due to the applicant volume and how busy the hiring manager is. So this makes it difficult to find another position within HP if you only have 63 days to do so (7 days * 9 weeks)!
Datapoint, there are jobs I applied for back at the first of February that I started receiving phone interviews or rejection letters for at the end of March or first of April, with others still "open"!
