Alan Silverstein, Fall 2002:

A few parting thoughts about being laid off...

"A tribe is a group of people who honor the same perceptions. If you're plugged into tribal thought forms, you're also plugged into tribal diseases." -- Carolyn Myss

"To conquer fear is the beginning of wisdom." -- Bertrand Russell

"Pray to God, but keep rowing to shore." -- Russian proverb

"Sometimes you must tread water until you know which way is the shore." -- my cousin Glenn

The last quote came to me many years ago. As of 2007, I'm still enjoying treading water, although I get occasional glimpses of what looks like a shoreline...

All the best to you on your journey!

"There seems no plan because it is all plan." -- C. S. Lewis
